These WW2 Scottish soldiers were made in the Marx UK Swansea factory and have the Louis Marx & Co. Ltd. copyright stamp on their base copyrighted for 1964. They are made from a lighter shade of green than the set of British figures and are the hardest to find and the most sought after of all the Marx soldier sets in the UK. One particular problem with them is that the green plastic has become very brittle over time and it is therefore sometimes very hard to find them without significant damage.
Overall, the Scottish figures are very well modelled. However, the sculptor for these figures used a great deal of artistic licence in the poses produced using an odd array of outfits and weapons to accentuate their Scottishness.
