The set of six British soldiers were only produced in the UK Marx factory in Swansea and probably never sold in the USA where they are very hard to find. The original figures included the UK Marx stamp on their base together with a description of what the figures were and the Louis Marx & Co. Ltd. 1963 copyright notification.
The figures were made using a darker green plastic and are well sculptured. Both the kit they are wearing and the weapons they are carrying are all very realistically modelled in contrast with the other sets produced in the UK Marx factory.
